“Mommy what do you want to be when you grow up?”
“I’m not sure yet”
“But you need to know, you’re grown up”
“It’s OK not to know yet. What do you want to be?”“A tree”
Really? I feel like when I tell you I don’t know, and you respond
that you are going to be “a tree” you’re mocking me. My three year old was mocking me.
…back to my point, this is going to be about my journey to
find me. Well, I know who I am and what I am about, I just feel like there
is always more. There are more things I could be doing; things to
make me happy, my family happy, give me an outlet, give my family a break from
my sarcasm and well, write – something I used to love to do BK (before kids),
when I had all the time and only worried about myself and my car.
Buck up, shut up, buckle up and enjoy.
